The TECHE Project is teaming up with the Village of Loreauville and Project Front Yard-Iberia Parish for a beautification project on the banks to the Bayou Teche. We will be cleaning up the area next to the Loreauville Fire Station, the future home of the Acadian Park on the Bayou Teche. We will be cutting branches and removing trash and debris from this location. We will supply water and gloves for volunteers who come and support this effort. This project is in preperation for the Tour Du Teche race slated for Oct. 2-3-4 and the Grand Reveil Acadian Celebration on Oct. 8th. The cleanup will begin at 9am, if you want to come for an hour or stay all day we are more than happy to have you join us.
